Oh the little kindnesses we remember when someone is gone. I used to stay with Aunt Annie when I was small in the summers once in a while. But somehow what sticks in my mind is a gift she gave me of a small charm for a bracelet and she had gift wrapped that present by constructing a whole bed with a canopy with the little charm hanging off one of the bed posters. I am sure it made be feel so special and I never forgot it. A small story recounting who Aunt Annie was in life.

In every family, there are times to walk in sunlight and in shadows. Those we hold most dear never truly leave us as they live on through your memories, your kindness to others, and the love you share with family and friends. We are proud to be a part of this family! God is great and life is precious. We wish you comfort now, serenity soon, and warm memories forever.....

Ann was one of the first ladies I met when I joined SLGA.
It was my honor to know her.

To my dear mother in law...I have been blessed to have you with me for over 40 years. Words can't express how much I have learned from watching you, from examples that you have demonstrated and from the joy you have continued to display despite some of the hardships you have endured. As I dear friend just described you..." A Gift So Rare". I will miss you -always!

Grandma Ann, I’m so blessed to have known you. You always had the best sense of humor and were so warm and welcoming of me into your incredible family. While we mourn you here, I know you’re at peace to be again with (Papa) Fred. Your loving family all listed here is a testament to your wonderful life that will continue in perpetuity. You were so loved.

All of us at the Suburban Ladies Golf Association (SLGA) are saddened to learn that Ann will no longer fill our days with her laughter and friendship. Ann was a lifetime member and came almost every week to be with her friends at SLGA. She was a joy to be with and will be missed. Thank you, Ann, for your service on our board and mainly for your friendship. May you have a hole-in-one every time you play from now on.................
