Velta A Sanborn (nee Robin), age 78, beloved wife of Robert for 60 years. Dear mother of William, Bruce & Steven Sanborn (Michelle) and Lisa Burkhardt (Troy). Loving grandmother of Michael, Robert, Spencer, Kyle, Matthew, Ryan, Bristy and Blake. Sister of Norman and Allen Robin, Donna Righter and Maureen Lamberson. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Velta was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  In addition to caring for her family, she was an Avon representative for 46 years and had a banking career at Cardinal Federal, 1st Nationwide and 5/3 Bank for over 20 years. She served her community of North Olmsted through many organizations. When her children were young, she was both a Den Mother for her sons in Cub Scouts and a troop leader for her daughter in Girl Scouts.  For many years, she was a member of the North Olmsted Junior Women’s Club, Meals on Wheels, Towne Club, and Community Council.  Velta had many friends and touched many lives through her work and service.  Memorial services to be held on Saturday, September 5 at 11:00 am at Advent Episcopal Church, 3760 Dover Center Road, Westlake, 44145. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.

Mr. Sanborn, Bill, Bruce, Steve, & Lisa, you are all in my thoughts and prayers for the lost of your Wife/Mom. I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Sanborn through the years of living next store and even after moving away and coming home to visit. She was a very special person to me my whole life & she will be missed.
