I played in a golf league with Dick on Monday mornings. He was an inspiration to me - at 96 he continued to compete and played very well - I hope I can do the same. When I lost my wife in 2018, conversations with Dick on the golf course helped me through that difficult time. He will be missed by many people.

Dick was a dear friend and a true gentleman. We golfed together every Wednesday the last couple of years and his scores were unbelievable! I will miss his friendship - he was such a good man. Connie Kessel

Our family always looked foreword to uncle Dick and aunt Shirleys summer visits to North Dakota. They were truly wonderful guests. I will forever have great memories.

So thankful for the times we lived close enough to be able get our families together. I remember when Dick and Shirley lived in Vallejo,CA they had an aluminum Christmas tree. We thought that was so different and special. I’m sure Ted was there to greet him when he arrived. All my love, Patsy
