Ralph J. Raymont, 89,  of Avon (formerly of South Euclid), passed away on October 13, 2020. Beloved husband of 66 years to Ethel Louise (nee Grosser). Father of Jim, Tom, (Steve Schreiber) and John (Sue). Grandfather of Trevor and Carolina.  Son of the late Fred and Rose Raymont.  Preceded in death by his siblings Fred (Jean), Irene Wiese (Edward), Arthur, and Carole McGoldrick (Joe).  Beloved uncle and great uncle of many. Neighbor and friend to many.

Ralph was a graduate of Shaw High School. He joined the Navy in 1952 and proudly served the country until 1956.  He married Louise in 1954 and they raised their sons in East Cleveland before moving to South Euclid in 1969.  Ralph was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in South Euclid where he served as an usher for many years.  He was a member of the Teamsters Local 293. Ralph loved watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians.  

Friends and Family will gather for visitation from 3 to 5 Friday October 16th at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake. Service to follow beginning at 5:00pm.  Private Family interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Masks are required. 

Contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve or the charity of your choice.

The family requests that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home, but reach out to the family via the memorial webpage on www.jenkinsfuneralchapel.com/memorials. If you are attending public services, please follow the CDC recommendations.

To make sure that the community is able to participate in the ceremony, we are offering complementary on-site video streaming of services to our families.
