Ronald R Schauer
Birthplace: Berea, Ohio Resided In: North Ridgeville, Ohio Visitation: November 11, 2020 Service: November 12, 2020

Ron grew up in Berea and graduated from Berea High School.  He resided in North Ridgeville to raise his family since 1995.  His four children meant the world to him.  He would dress up for 50s dance parties, decorate the workshop for Black Light Halloween parties, and spend time with family around the fire pit.  Halloween was his favorite holiday; building his own yard decorations.  He was called dad by many of his children’s friends.

He enjoyed helping others and was capable of taking on any project with much attention to detail.  No handyman project was too large to tackle; many knew him as Mr-Fix-It-Man.

Music was a passion; when he listened to classic rock in his workshop, so did all the neighbors.

Ron had an extreme connection to his pets and those of others.  Dogs that otherwise feared people would approach him with excitement.  His own pets would hear his truck from down the street and waited anxiously for his arrival.

His trade-mark attire was wearing a jeans jacket no matter what the event, occasion or temperature.  In Ron’s honor; please wear your favorite jeans jacket to visit.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years Beverly (Nee Hamilton). His loving children,  Madelynn, Audrey, Matthew and Elizabeth and his sister and brother Karen Brodzinski (Jerry) and Lee Schauer and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services to be held Thursday November 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at Jenkins Funeral Chapel 2914 Dover Center Road Westlake.  Where Family and friends may call from 6:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic social distancing and masks are required

When I was a little girl, I asked you if you were going to marry my Aunt. Clearly putting you on the spot, I don’t remember your answer in the moment, you ended up my Uncle. I will forever hear your voice when the theme song of Winnie The Pooh plays. You will be missed Uncle Ron! May my cousins Madelynn, Audrey, Matt, Lizzie and my Aunt Bev feel your love and light shine down on them always! Rest in peace!
